Regional Head of Iowa Operations

Locations: Remote in Iowa

We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals to join our leadership team as the Regional Head of Operations for Iowa. This is a pivotal role in driving statewide growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence in one of the most agriculturally rich and community-centered states in the United States.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all operational activities within Iowa, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and strategy.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive state-specific business plan, including funding, staffing, and market penetration strategies tailored to Iowa’s unique environment.
  • Collaborate with other regional leaders to share insights and align efforts across states.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Iowa’s local governments, investors, banks, tribal organizations, businesses, schools, and community leaders.
  • Secure funding between $10M and $25M for statewide initiatives, including acquiring office spaces, staffing, and business acquisitions.
  • Represent the company at Iowa-based events, public forums, and industry conferences to enhance its presence and influence.
  • Drive statewide growth by identifying, acquiring, and integrating key businesses in Iowa.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while adhering to company policies and meeting organizational standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and oversee resource allocation within the state.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality output.
  • Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, offering actionable insights.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team across Iowa, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources for success.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and creativity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and develop personalized growth plans for team members.
  • Drive revenue by acquiring new clients for the company’s Iowa-based marketing, design, and service offerings.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to expand market share across the state.
  • Organize and host events, workshops, and community programs to build connections and enhance the company’s presence in Iowa.
  • Actively seek opportunities to give back to local communities through impactful corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities unique to Iowa to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to propose and implement innovative solutions to operational challenges within the state.
  • Respond effectively to unforeseen challenges, ensuring resilience and adaptability in the face of change.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations relevant to operations in Iowa.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Government Relations, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to secure funding and manage multimillion-dollar budgets.
  • Strong understanding of Iowa’s unique market, culture, and opportunities.
  • Established track record of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as investors, government officials, tribal organizations, and businesses in Iowa.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, project management, and team development.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Flexibility to travel within Iowa and occasionally outside the state as required.
  • Existing network of contacts within Iowa.
  • Experience managing large-scale events or community programs in Iowa.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with marketing, branding, and public relations strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and seize business opportunities in Iowa.
SALARY: $750K+
