Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Locations: Remote (LA, NYC, Miami, Michigan – Must be able to travel)

The Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) will be responsible for overseeing and executing FAM ENTERPRISES’ M&A strategy. This role is essential to our growth, as it will guide the acquisition, merger, and integration of businesses globally. The Head of M&A will manage a team of M&A professionals and collaborate with senior leadership to identify high-value opportunities, negotiate complex deals, and integrate new companies into our operations seamlessly. This is a strategic leadership role that requires strong business acumen, a deep understanding of M&A processes, and the ability to influence and drive significant corporate growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute the overall M&A strategy for FAM ENTERPRISES, identifying high-potential targets and opportunities in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Drive the entire M&A process, from deal sourcing and negotiation to structuring, due diligence, and integration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Investment, Legal, Real Estate, Political, and Operations, to ensure alignment and successful integration of acquired companies.
  • Identify opportunities for acquiring or merging with businesses in key sectors, such as Marketing, Advertising, Social Media, Talent Management, Sports Management, and more.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, investors, and key stakeholders to source and secure acquisition targets.
  • Oversee a team of M&A professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to ensure team success.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Financial, and Real Estate teams to structure deals, minimize risks, and maximize value.
  • Regularly report to the CEO and executive leadership on progress and results of M&A activities, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the M&A landscape, including market trends, competitor activities, and potential risks or opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to raise funds, secure loans, and leverage company assets to acquire and merge with targeted companies.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions, from deal sourcing and negotiation to post-acquisition integration.
  • Strong leadership experience managing teams, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Expertise in M&A valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiation tactics.
  • High-level understanding of business strategy, financial statements, and operations.
  • Strong network of industry contacts, including business owners, investors, and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations and navigate business, legal, and financial challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with executives, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the United States and globally, as required by M&A deals.

Regional Director of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Locations: Multiple Key Regions Across the USA

The Regional Director of M&A will be a key leader within our Mergers & Acquisitions team, responsible for driving business acquisitions and mergers within their assigned region. This role requires a highly skilled professional with deep industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in M&A to help us grow and expand our portfolio. The Regional Director will identify acquisition targets, lead negotiations, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to successfully close deals that align with our vision. This position will have a significant impact on FAM ENTERPRISES’ growth trajectory and business transformation, while also helping to establish and expand our M&A, Financial, Legal, and Real Estate services for clients globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead M&A efforts in your region, identifying strategic acquisition targets that align with FAM ENTERPRISES’ business objectives and growth strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, investors, and key industry players to identify potential M&A opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations, structure deals, and oversee the due diligence process to ensure favorable outcomes for FAM ENTERPRISES.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Investment, Legal, Real Estate, Political, and Operations) to align resources and ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses.
  • Ensure successful integration and transition of acquired companies into FAM ENTERPRISES, including managing post-acquisition operations, reporting, and communication.
  • Create and execute a strategic regional M&A roadmap that aligns with the broader corporate vision, financial goals, and market opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to stay ahead of M&A opportunities and challenges.
  • Regularly report on regional M&A performance and progress to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with the M&A, Financial, Legal, and Real Estate teams to offer integrated services to clients, helping them navigate acquisitions, mergers, and expansions globally.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in identifying and executing M&A transactions, from sourcing deals to closing them.
  • Strong understanding of business valuation, financial modeling, and negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to analyze and assess complex business situations and propose strategic solutions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region to meet with stakeholders, evaluate potential acquisitions, and oversee deal execution.
  • A deep network within your region, including relationships with business owners, industry executives, and investors, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in or managing M&A, Financial, Legal, and Real Estate services is a plus.
SALARY: $450K to $750K+
